Two Windsor friends are $100,000 richer after winning with INstant Silver Stacks.
Riley Osier and Andrew Hargot, a pair of 18-year old friends, very recently starting playing Instant tickets. “This ticket was purchased on Andrew’s eighteenth birthday,” shared Riley, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their cheque. The two discovered their win when they uncovered their ticket while sitting in the car after they had bought it. “We thought we had won $100, and we started cheering. Then we uncovered the other three zeros and we went silent and stared at each other,” Andrew laughed.
After discovering their win, the two went back to Andrew’s house to tell his family. “My mom almost passed out she was so excited,” Andrew smiled. “My sister was jealous, and my brother was confused because of all the times I have messed with him!”
Andrew who works in construction, and Riley, who works in retail, have made some plans for their winnings. Andrew plans to sell his car and upgrade to something new. “It will be fun to shop for my new car without the same financial restrictions,” he said. Riley will likely invest his portion of their winnings.
“It’s still hard to believe. I can’t think of a better birthday present than $50,000,” Andrew concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at A & A Tecumseh Convenience on Lesperance Road.
