Flooding Closes Streets And Trails In LaSalle

This mornings heavy rain has caused flooding in parts of LaSalle.

The town reports that Front Road between Laurier Drive and International Avenue is closed due to flooding.

In addition, all trails located near Turkey Creek are closed and the bridge over Turkey Creek in Vince Marcotte Park is closed. The water level in Turkey Creek has not peaked, and is expected to rise throughout the day. The water in Turkey Creek is very fast moving and dangerous. If there is standing water on any portion of trail, please do not proceed through.
