A young child has passed away after drowning in an Amherstburg pool.
Police say around 6:30pm on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020, they were called to the scene where the young child was located in a pool at a residence and in need of immediate medical attention.
The child was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Despite all efforts by emergency services and medical personnel, the young child has passed away.
