Waste Collection in Tecumseh will return to normal pick-up as of June 4th, 2020 in accordance with the hard-sided container by-law.
Back in April, Council approved temporary changes to the Town’s Waste Collection to accept an additional two bags of household waste per week until May 28th, 2020.
“We made the decision to allow for extra bags while the Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) public drop off depot was closed,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh. “With the reopening of the depot and other transfer stations in the County, we are moving back to our original waste restrictions which were put in place to reduce rodents and urban wildlife.”
