In a year of challenges and adaption, the Windsor community was happy to–at a social-distance– attend the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market kickoff day and support local.
The Downtown Windsor Farmers Market looks a bit different this year as there are only booths for vendors, and many precautions for social-distancing. There are arrows indicating which direction to go, a hand washing station, and a partition to help attendees keep a safe distance from one another. Happy shoppers lined up on either side of the market’s Pelissier Street home, awaiting their turn to enter and support locals with booths set up.
The market this year features fresh fruit, vegetables, artisan food products as well as more locally-sourced and made items.
This year’s market will run Saturdays from 8am until 1pm, from May 30th to October 31st on Pelissier Street and Maiden Lane.
