Downtown Windsor BIA Launches Crowdfunding Initiative To Support Downtown Businesses

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association has launched a new donation campaign allowing community members to support their favourite downtown businesses.
Designed to assist small business in the core impacted by the pandemic, the DWBIA is implementing a donation platform on its website. The site also provides an overview of the program, addresses frequently asked questions, enables members to register, and lists all those businesses that are participating.
“This is an effort to support downtown businesses, many of which have been the heart and soul of the core,” says DWBIA chair Brian Yeomans. “The money collected can be used for costs like payroll and rent, and may help see them through this crisis.”
