An OPP member working in Essex County has tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials confirmed Monday afternoon “one uniform member” of the Ontario Provincial Police has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
They say the member’s name is being withheld to respect their privacy and the member worked at the Essex County Detachment. The OPP was made aware of the diagnosis on April 4th.
Officials say the member is in isolation and is recovering.
