Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

Over the next week, city crews will be cutting invasive woody species and applying herbicide as appropriate in several natural parks.

The affected areas have been signed, and the herbicide is applied directly to cut stems and not broadcast sprayed.

Crews will be working in Black Oak Heritage Park, and Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park Wednesday and Thursday. Work is also planned for Spring Garden Natural Area next week.

There will be no impact to park users, as the work is being done away from the park’s trails.
