All public worship services in Anglican churches in the Diocese of Huron have been suspended effective immediately, due to the situation with the spread of COVID-19.
“This pause from public worship will continue until Wednesday, April 8th when a decision will be made about the possibility of a change,” said Right Reverend Todd Townshend, Bishop of Huron.
In addition to this temporary pause in larger, public worship gatherings all non-essential meetings should be either cancelled or moved to electronic format, and all groups who use our buildings are asked to consider postponing or to assure strict compliance with pandemic protocols.
On Sunday, the rectors of St. Augustine’s, St. James Roseland, Christ Church Colchester, St. Andrew’s Harrow, and All Saints Windsor will hold worship online on Facebook Live.
