Bachman Cummings will kick off their cross-Canada Together Again, Live In Concert reunion tour on The Colosseum stage Thursday, June 11th at 8pm.
Canada’s most celebrated musicians and songwriters Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings have written some of the greatest songs of the last 50 years. Together theirs is undoubtedly the Great Canadian Songbook. Their hits include classics such as “These Eyes”, “Undun”, “American Woman”, “No Sugar Tonight” and “You Saved My Soul”, and that is only a sample of the dozens of gold and platinum hits between the two of them.
Not only will Bachman Cummings perform some of their biggest solo hits including Cumming’s “Stand Tall” and “Saved My Soul”, they will celebrate the extensive back-catalogues of The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, including “Takin’Care of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet”.
This legendary duo has made Canadian music international; paving the way for every Canadian artist who followed.
“We are having more fun now,” states Bachman. “There is a lot of love and respect for each other. Working together with Burton again musically is like riding a bike, easy and fun, but with everyone clapping along as we do it.”
