Lakeshore Dog Pound Closed To The Public

The Town of Lakeshore has decided to close the Dog Pound to the public effective immediately. The Dog Pound will continue to accept stray dogs brought to them by local Animal Control Officers.
Dog owners will be able to pickup stray dogs by appointment only. Identified owners will be contacted by the Dog Pound staff to make an appointment to pickup their dog.
Individuals with lost dogs are welcome to call the Dog Pound at 519-727-6495 to inquire if their dog is at the pound.
Lakeshore requests anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 or have travelled in the last 14 days to not attend the Dog Pound or any municipal facility. Individuals attending the dog pound will be subject to additional screening questions by staff.
