Police Investigating West End Shooting

Windsor Police are looking for information in relation to a weekend shooting.
Police say around 12:30am on Saturday, February 15th, 2020, they were called to the 1300 block of Askin Avenue for a report of a male that had been shot.
Officers arrived and located a male with a gunshot wound. The male was subsequently transported to hospital with what was later determined to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say that it was determined a verbal altercation occurred outside a residence in the 1300 block of Askin Avenue prior to the shooting and a black SUV was seen leaving the area after the incident.
No firearm has been recovered.
