OPP are looking for a driver after they hit a teenager on a bike and took off.

Police say it happened around 2pm on January 23rd, 2020, on Lakeshore Road 111 between Walls Road and County Road 42.

They say that a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a teen cyclist. The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly to speak with the injured boy but fled the scene at a high rate of speed, Northbound on Lakeshore Road 111, before police arrival. The vehicle was last seen turning left onto County Road 42.

The suspect driver is described as a white male, approximately 60 to 65 years of age, medium build, approximately six feet tall, bald with a moustache, wearing a long dark coat, and dark coloured pants.

The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front driver’s side corner.

The cyclist was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The OPP asks that anyone who can assist in the identification of this driver or vehicle, contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
