The third-largest winery in Ontario, Magnotta Winery, held the official grand opening of its new Windsor location this weekend bringing their retail store count to 13.

For almost 30 years, Magnotta has been producing over 180 products including premium VQA wines, sparkling and dessert wines and Icewines.

The company grows Ontario grapes from its 180 acres of vineyards in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula.

“We are extremely proud and excited to be part of the Windsor community,” said Rossana Magnotta, CEO of Magnotta Winery. “Our beautiful new store at 650 Division Road offers our complete selection of over 180 products in a city that has proven to be a great fan of our wines. We have been touched by the warm welcome we’ve already received from customers and look forward to meeting many more during our official grand opening event.”

To mark the store opening, Magnotta Winery has created three limited-time wines exclusively for Windsor customers to enjoy: A Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot red wine, a Pinot Grigio/Vidal sparkling wine and a Vidal late harvest dessert wine. The bottles feature custom labels with a prominent “W” and Windsor’s longitude and latitude coordinates.
