Western Secondary School is one of two high schools that will be replaced.
Planning for the new high school that will replace General Amherst and Western are well underway, and you will have an opportunity to view plans for the building on Thursday, January 9th at 6pm in the General Amherst gymnasium.
There will be a presentation by the architects from J.P. Thomson Ltd. and personnel from the Board will be available to answer questions and receive comments from families in the school community and members of the public.
The design and budget for the school will be presented to the GECDSB Board of Trustees for their approval at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21st.
