KFC Closes Wyandotte West And Erie Street Locations

The Wyandotte Street West location
Two long time KFC locations in Windsor have closed their doors.
The location on Wyandotte Street West at Bridge Avenue near the University of Windsor along with the location on Erie Street East at Gladstone Avenue both closed permanently, Sunday evening.
No reasons were provided why either location closed.
Signs in the windows of each restaurant stated “Sorry this location is closed,” along with “Sadly this restaurant is bidding farewell. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.”
KFC opened a brand new location on Huron Church in July of 2018 and at that time, KFC said they had plans to close and renovate the Wyandotte Street location.
The Erie Street East location
A new location is also under construction in Downtown Windsor on the corner of Wyandotte Street East and Windsor Avenue. It’s expected to be open in late summer.
