The WindsorEssex Community Foundation granted a total of $36,000 to seven Windsor and Essex County charities. “The WECF is happy to support these local organizations and the many successful programs they provide in Windsor Essex County,” said Lisa Kolody, WECF Executive Director. “Congratulations, once more to the grant recipients, we look forward to seeing the positive impact their programs will have in our community.”
The organizations funded through the WECF Community Impact Grants Include:
- Downtown Business Accelerator
- Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation
- John McGivney Children’s Centre
- Kiwanis Music Festival Windsor-Essex County
- New Song Church – Feeding Windsor
- Windsor Centre for Film, Digital Media & Creative Arts
- Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association
