Windsor Yard Waste Collection Dates Added

The City of Windsor is adding additional yard waste collection dates for the month of December due to the late arrival of fall conditions this season and the snowfall earlier this month.

The collections will be zone specific and will take place from December 9th through to the 2th0 and as follows:

Zone 1A – Tuesday, December 10th
Zone 2A – Wednesday, December 11th
Zone 3A – Thursday, December 12th
Zone 4A – Friday December 13th

Zone 1B – Tuesday, December 17th
Zone 2B – Wednesday, December 18th
Zone 3B – Thursday, December 19th
Zone 4B – Friday December 20th

Residents are asked to place yard waste in accepted containers such as paper yard waste bags, garbage cans, cardboard boxes or roll-out carts.

Yard waste that is improperly prepared (e.g. placed in plastic bags) will not be picked up. Please make sure to bundle branches securely in 4-foot lengths that are no larger than 3 feet in diameter. Bundles should not exceed 44 lbs. Do not use wire to tie bundles. Thorny branches should be placed in boxes, pails or yard waste bags.

Please make sure yard waste is at the curb prior to 6am on your scheduled yard waste collection day.
