City of Windsor Site Plan
American restaurant chain Chick-fil-a is planning to open a location in Windsor according to a site plan released to city council members and the public on Friday.
The proposed restaurant will be located at 3060 Howard, just north of The Keg.
Windsor City Councillor Chris Holt announced the restaurant in a Facebook post
Currently, there is just one other location in Canada in the Toronto area.
The company was founded in Hapeville, Georgia in 1946 and there are more than 2,300 locations in the United States.
The site plan goes to City Council Monday evening for approval.
There is no word yet on when construction will get underway.
