Windsor International Film Festival Announces Must-See Titles For This Year’s Festival

The Windsor International Film Festival has released some don’t-miss films that will be shown at this year’s festival.

  • WIFF’s opening night film, INVISIBLES directed by Louis-Julien Petit, features a fun, hilarious and thoughtful film that depicts two women desperate to use any means necessary to ensure their women’s shelter remains open so that they can continue to help shape the lives of the women they meet.
  • WIFF’s closing night film, ONCE WERE BROTHERS: ROBBIE ROBERTSON AND THE BAND, directed by Daniel Roher and produced by Windsor native Stephen Paniccia, is a music documentary that is sure to please music and curiosity fans alike.
  • Netflix’s premiere of THE KING, directed by David Michôd and starring Robert Pattison and Timothée Chalamet which tells the story of a young King Henry the V, reluctantly learning to adjust to his new royal duty.
  • OFFICIAL SECRETS directed by Gavin Hood and starring Keira Knightly and Ralph Fiennes. This critically-acclaimed spy thriller based on true events, is guaranteed to keep people talking long after the credits have rolled.
