Hundreds of locals joined in on this year’s annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk, which took place Sunday morning at St. Clair College’s Sportsplex.
Speakers took to the stage in the morning before the walk commenced to share their stories and display why this awareness walk and fundraising is so important, especially on the note of You are Not Alone, which is a large part of the message behind the walk. Various resources were also set up on site.
The walk is free to attend, but donations are accepted to go towards the Canadian Mental Health Association.
