County Road 42 in Lakeshore is closed between Patillo Road and County Road 25 for the Puce River Bridge Rehabilitation project.
Eastbound traffic on County Road 42 is being diverted North at Patillo and westbound traffic is being diverted to the South or North at County Road 25. West Puce Road is not a detour route.
The $816,000 contract was awarded to Front Construction Industries Inc. to rehabilitate the Puce River Bridge. The project includes replacement of precast girders, deck and barrier protection, repairs to the abutment walls and bearing seats.
The road is expected to remain closed until October 31st.
