Amherstburg Community Services Receives $1,000 donation

Amherstburg Community Services received a donation of $1000 from Amherstburg’s James H. Sutton Funeral Home this week.

According to ACS Executive Director, Kathy DiBartolomeo, donations like this enable them to create a big difference for their community.

“Yes, we’re a small organization, but we know we make a big impact and so much of that is enabled by donations like this,” DiBartolomeo said. “We’re so grateful to the team at Sutton funeral home for making this happen and for their incredible show of generosity.”

The donation will be used to support Amherstburg Community Services’ various social programs directed at seniors. Amherstburg Community Services operates in Amherstburg, LaSalle, Harrow, and McGregor and provides over 20 different services.
