Written by Second Chance Animal Rescue:

Clifford
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
DOB: March 13, 2018
Weight: 15 lbs
Sex: Male
Energy Level: low to medium energy

Requirements:
-fully secured fenced yard (no electric fence)
-no apartments
-no children under 5 years old in the home
-can be the only dog in the home, but if there is another dog in the home, must be less than 40 lbs
-no cats or small animals in the home (rabbits, birds, etc.)

Pup-sonality:
Clifford the Little Red Dog is ready to say hello! He may be small on the outside but he thinks he’s big on the inside. He can sometimes show dominance towards other male dogs, so his best dog partner would be a female or he can be the only dog in the home. Clifford is not a fan of a crate, but will stay in his crate for short periods. He is new to Canada and is still learning his house-training, but he is almost there and will use a pee pad when he can’t make it outside. Clifford can jump when he gets excited, and is improving with training, but his ideal home will have older children, as well as a family willing to continue teaching him proper greetings. He is unknown about cats. Clifford can do basic commands and loves to play fetch. He loves being outside and going for walks and is getting better walking on his leash. He even chases birds around in his yard, hoping to catch one some day. He alternates between bursts of playful energy as a young dog, but also likes to rest throughout the day and sleeps well through the night. Clifford is ready for his next big adventure with his furever family.
