PHOTOS: Ninth Bob Probert Memorial Ride Surpasses One Million Dollar Mark

The 9th Annual Bob Probert Memorial Ride took of Saturday from Thunder Road Harley Davidson, starting their afternoon-long trek around the area. Over a thousand riders put up their kickstands to support the ride once again in memory of the late Bob Probert, a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the National Hockey League’s Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks.

The ride went off on Malden Road, going through LaSalle into Amherstburg before heading to their final stop at the Ciociaro Club.

The day annually supports Cardiac Wellness programs at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, with this year being extra special with the exciting announcement of surpassing the $1 million fundraising milestone. In addition to that announcement, plans and a rendering of the Bob Probert Cardiac Centre, to be built as an expansion in the Tecumseh Arena.
