Front Road At Turkey Creek Bridge To Be Closed For Weekend

Front Road at the Turkey Creek Bridge in LaSalle will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians starting at 7pm on Friday, June 14th, 2019 until Monday, June 17th, 2019 at 6am.

LaSalle Transit 25 route will be affected by the temporary closure of Front Road. The bus will follow the regular route, but when on Reaume Road, instead of turning right onto Matchette Road, the bus will continue straight on Reaume Road, and turn left onto Front Road, continuing on the regular route. This means that bus stops on Matchette Road, Morton Drive and Front Road (between Morton Drive and Reaume Road) will be temporarily closed.

The Turkey Creek Bridge in LaSalle is being rehabilitated. On Monday, June 17th, 2019, the construction will continue with one lane open in each direction. This project is expected to last until the end of October.
