Environment Canada says that scattered strong thunderstorms have developed to the west of Lake Michigan and are expected to track eastward and southeastward overnight.
These thunderstorms may clip extreme southwestern Ontario early Thursday morning.
They say that there is considerable uncertainty as to the development, strength and track of these storms. Should the storms strengthen, there may be a threat for isolated wind gusts of 90 km/h and hail.
