ProsperUs, a community initiative involving more than 30 area partners is hosting a series of Community Data Walks in neighbourhoods across Windsor-Essex over the next few weeks.
These walks are three-hour guided tours where participants are guided through data stations and encouraged to share their thoughts in an interactive group setting.
Each station outlines local data related to childhood poverty, the cost of living, early development and school readiness, math and literacy success in school and income by education level.
The walks allow residents to learn about their neighbourhood and share feedback, stories and input.
A complimentary meal is included and childcare, transportation and translation support will be available if requested.
