New Washrooms Coming To Jackson Park

Construction will be underway soon to replace the old washroom and parks service buildings at Jackson Park.

Plans call for the replacement of the existing buildings with ones that meet today’s standards and will be compatible with the architectural style and materials of the existing buildings and garden. The washrooms have been designed for operations in all four seasons.

During the building construction, the park and parking lot will remain open and the city says you will still be able to visit and take the perfect prom, graduation and wedding photos.

Following construction, the parking lots and laneways will also be reconstructed. The parking lots will be closed completely, but parking will be available from Dougall Avenue under the Ouellette overpass, as it was for Bright Lights.
