Lakeshore Council Approves Additional Road Projects

Lakeshore Council has directed Administration to proceed with additional road projects totalling $625,000.

“Council has heard residents state they want more funding put towards maintaining roads throughout the municipality. This funding adds 10 more roads to Lakeshore’s 2019 construction projects to improve our infrastructure this year. It is a big step towards attaining our goal of improving roads in Lakeshore” stated Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain.

The roads outstanding from this review that align with the 2018 Roads Needs Study and are within the budget allotment include:
o Wintermute Ave
o Plant Drive
o Kerr Crescent
o Greenwood Crescent
o Lalonde Street
o Park Street
o Maple Street
o Hale Street
o Ball Street
o Reed Street
