Windsor Regional Hospital is warning about scam employment offers going around the community after they say they had recently been approached by numerous individuals who received emails erroneously suggesting they have been offered work opportunities with our organization.
One series of fraudulent emails claims to make offers of employment from a “chief employment director” to individuals in other countries. One such email to an individual in India claimed to have been sent by “Windsor Community Hospitals” ([email protected]) and was signed off by a “Timothy Brien, Chief Employment Director, Windsor Hospital.” No such individual or title exists at the hospital.
Subsequent to being contacted about the above emails, we received information from the Immigration Department at the High Commission of Canada in London (UK) checking on the validity of documents they had received involving “hospital appointments” to two British citizens who were applying to visit Canada. Again, these “appointment letters” signed by a “Sandra Henry, Office Manager” were fraudulent – no person by that name or title exists at the hospital either.
The hospital says they would never send any offers of employment without a complete interview and discussion in advance.
