Train Hits Stolen Vehicle

Windsor Police are looking for a suspect after a stolen vehicle collided with a train early Tuesday morning.
Police say it happened around 3am in the 3100 block of Jefferson Boulevard.
Police say that when they arrived, they found a train stopped across the train tracks and a white Chrysler 300 on its roof approximately 50 meters north of the train.
It is believed the vehicle clipped the front of the train, causing the vehicle to flip. They also say they believe the train track warning lights were activated at the time of the collision.
Police say that a male suspect fled the scene.
The vehicle which had recently been stolen sustained extensive damage. The train sustained minor damage.
The suspect was last seen running northbound on Jefferson Boulevard and is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old and approximately 6’2″. He had dark hair in a bun, and was wearing a burgundy sweater and black pants.
