Hi, I’m Sasha. I grew up in a nice loving home somewhere near Detroit. I had a nice family and a doggie friend to share it all with. I never could have imagined I would end up like this. Somewhere along the road I ended up in a Detroit pound with my friend. Sad thing is I have no idea where she went. But there I sat an older girl with a smile for everyone to pass on. I was starting to feel pretty helpless sitting next to all the young dogs that kept coming and going. Then they hit me with one more thing that is going to make it harder for me to find a family. I have Heart-worm! So I sat and sat… and still smiled at every person and dog that walked by. Then the moment I had been waiting for, I get taken away in a car!!! Yay!!! But that’s how I ended up here. Yes it is great, trust me I do feel like my odds are better here just because there are less dogs to choose from. But I still haven’t found my forever home. The nice people here cleaned my teeth so I’m Minty fresh and also said they will cover the Heart-worm Treatment for my Adopters!! So what do you think? Do you think you could love a fun, loving, extremely sweet girl like me? I love people and just about all dogs! I love to play with toys still and will even wiggle my bum on you while I hold onto them. I really hope now is my time, I will love you forever!!
