The Gordie Howe International Bridge project was recognized by CG/LA Infrastructure with their 2019 Oracle Project of the Year Award in the Engineering Project category.
The CG/LA Oracle Project of the Year Awards recognize and celebrate the projects — and the leaders behind the projects — that are models for projects going forward. Awards are given in five categories: Strategic, Engineering, Finance, Green Infrastructure/Sustainability, and Job Creation.
The Gordie Howe International Bridge project has been the recipient of several industry awards recently including, IJGlobal’s Road Deal of the Year, Lexpert’s Canadian Deal of the Year and PFI’s Transport Deal of the Year.
Representatives from Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) were on hand in Montreal, Quebec, at the 12th Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum to accept the award.
