The Salvation Army will host its annual Christmas dinner at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts on Wednesday, December 12th.

“This event is part of the tradition and fabric of Christmas in Windsor,” says Paul Rideout, executive director of Windsor Centre of Hope. “People living in isolation or low-income families are welcome to come out and enjoy a wonderful meal, beautiful music and fellowship.”

The Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope expects to serve about 700 people and will have over one hundred volunteers serving up the traditional turkey dinner at 6pm.

“We want those individuals who may be isolated, or without family to come experience Christmas with us,” says Shannon Wise, public relations representative for The Salvation Army. “The Salvation Army will be your family for the night.”

The Salvation Army has hosted the annual Christmas dinner for over 20 years in Windsor.
