The 32nd annual Rotary TV Auction takes place this Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st on YourTV, channel 11 and 700HD. The bidding begins at 7pm and runs until midnight on both evenings.
Again, this year, celebrity auctioneers appear on the television broadcast to urge home viewers to bid early and bid often. Viewers can also follow along on their computers to track bids, look at upcoming blocks of items and keep their eye on the time remaining for bidding.
“We are thrilled to have more than 460 items in the auction from many loyal donors as well as new businesses,” said Rotarian Co-Chair Mary Lou Decou.
All the proceeds from the Rotary TV Auction will support charitable efforts in Windsor and area as well as helping to eradicate polio, provide basic needs and healthcare essentials in 3rd world countries around the globe.
The Rotary Club of Windsor St. Clair is in the midst of a multi-year commitment of $150,000 to build a children’s therapeutic greenhouse on the Prince Road campus of Hotel-Dieu-Grace Healthcare.
