Rakesh Naidu is the new President and CEO at the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Following an extensive executive search, I am pleased to welcome our new President and CEO, Rakesh Naidu to the team,” said Board of Directors, Jason Ilijanic. “Rakesh’s background and experience in a variety of senior roles over the past ten years (most recently as COO) at the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation (WEEDC) coupled with his extensive skills make him a very qualified and deserving leader.”

Naidu is a Chemical Engineer with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. As an ambassador of the Windsor-Essex region, he takes immense pride in the intrinsic strengths, achievements and diversity of the region.

“I look forward to advancing the strategic goals of the WERCC and to continue to create value for our chamber network, corporate members and stakeholders” said Naidu.

Naidu takes over on December 12th.

“I am delighted that Rakesh will be taking over the helm of the Chamber. The widespread experience Rakesh brings in business, executive leadership and advocacy will be of great benefit to our members” added Janice Forsyth, Acting President and CEO.
