An 18-year-old has succumbed to his injuries following a serious head on crash on Manning Road at the Tecumseh and Lakeshore border.

It happened at approximately 10pm Monday evening.

Ethan Shepherd, age 18 of Tecumseh, died when his vehicle and another vehicle struck head on on Manning Road between Baseline Road and Walls Road.

The 44-year-old female driver of the second vehicle was transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Manning Road was closed until approximately 5am this morning as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators completed their investigation.
