St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic High School in LaSalle has been rewarded for their environmental initiatives.
The school was recently recognized as a Gold EcoSchool by Ontario EcoSchools.
The school has been presented with a commemorative plaque to acknowledge their efforts including a living lab, building bat houses, creating bee habitats, in-class paper recycling program, a butterfly conservatory, and River Canard clean-up projects.
