Leamington District Secondary School Approved To Offer International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Leamington District Secondary School has officially been named an I.B. World School.
This allows the school to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to Grade 11 and 12 students beginning in September of 2019.
The school has offered the I.B. Preparatory Programme since September 2017, and there are currently 35 Grade 10 students and 60 Grade 9 students enrolled.
It is the first school in Essex County to receive an I.B. World School designation.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is an intensive academic curriculum that emphasizes independent thinking, inter-cultural awareness and a global perspective.
An information night will be held at the school on Tuesday, November 27th to provide students and families with more details about the program.
