Demolition has begin on three houses on Patricia Road owned by Canterbury College to make room for a new student residence.
The new three-storey structure will provide accommodation in the form of 32 single apartments and 30 rooms for shared accommodation arranged around common kitchens and living space.
The new residence will be open to students in September 2019.
