On Tuesday, the Ambassador Bridge began to demolish the abandoned homes that have lined Indian Road between Wyandotte Street West and University Avenue for close to a decade.
The demolition is part of the permit the bridge received last month from the Government of Canada to build a new span.
Over the next few weeks and months we will document the demolition and clean up.
