Environment Canada has confirmed a tornado hit Leamington, Friday evening.

Meteorologists say an EF-0 tornado with 130km/h winds struck solar panels and a greenhouse at around 5:40pm.

A tornado watch for Windsor and Essex County was issued at 5:44pm as a result.

No injuries were reported.
