The 15th annual Dragon Boat Festival for the Cure took place at Sandpoint Beach Sunday morning.

All funds raised from this event benefit breast cancer care in local hospitals, with over 3.4 million dollars having been raised from past festivals.

Along with the Dragon Boat races, a rose ceremony took place where participants as well as viewers could participate in. Roses were thrown in to the water together to show respect to those affected with cancer.
