Damage is extensive after a fire in Amherstburg Tuesday morning.
It broke out in the 100 block of Gore Street around 7:45am and took fire crews several hours to bring it under control.
The fire originated in main floor laundry room and extended throughout the building. Investigators say that damage was so extensive a cause of the fire could not be determined.
Three adjacent homes also suffered heat damage to their exterior.
Damage estimate to all homes is 350,000.
Fire officials say that a working smoke alarm alerted occupants and they escaped safely.
