The annual Health Access Day this year is on Tuesday April 25th, 2017 with the theme “Refugee, Newcomer & Immigrant Health”.

The event focuses promoting good health and improving access to local health and human services. This year there are 50 organizations involved to share information and, in some cases, offer screening and health promotion activities such as blood pressure readings and blood glucose test.

Refugees, newcomers and immigrants and members of ethno-cultural communites have been invited. It is estimated that over 600 visitors will attend this year.

It takes place at the Caboto Club from 9:30am to 2pm.
