Job Fair Looking For Full Time Labourers This Thursday

A job fair will take place this Thursday, November 3rd for semi-skilled labourers for an architectural manufacturing company in the Lakeshore area.

These are full-time positions on the day shift with the ability to be hired on permanently with benefits. Starting rate is $15 per hour.

You must be mechanically inclined, have the ability to read blueprints, and have strong measurement skills. You also must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and have the ability and experience working with a variety of hand tools. Experience in construction or carpentry is considered an asset.

You must have your own transportation as public transit is not available and have the availability to work afternoons as shift changes may occur depending on production.

All candidates must provide proof of grade 12, two references and complete a basic measurement test.

The job fair takes place at the Tecumseh Arena and Recreation Complex from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the Horwood Room. You are asked to bring your resume.
