Road Construction You Should Know About This Week

Many road construction projects continue this week in the City of Windsor. Each Sunday we will provide an updated list of the current projects underway and the expected completion dates.

Norman Road:
From South National Street to Alice Street will be closed for sewer and water main construction with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 30th.

Malden Road:

From Blackburn Court to Huron Church Road will have lane restrictions for water main construction until November 4th.

Byng Road:

From Lens Avenue to Ypres Avenue, will be closed for water main construction, with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 16th. Street parking will not be permitted during construction.

Vimy Avenue:
From Byng Road to Kildare Road, will be closed for water main construction, with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 16th. Street parking will not be permitted during construction.

Alsace Avenue:
From Byng Road to Kildare Road, will be closed for water main construction, with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 16th. Street parking will not be permitted during construction.

Verdun Avenue:
From Byng Road to Kildare Road, will be closed for water main construction, with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 16th. Street parking will not be permitted during construction.

Loraine Avenue:

From Byng Road to Kildare Road, will be closed for water main construction, with access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only until December 16th. Street parking will not be permitted during construction.

Turner Road:
Will be closed at Grand Marais Road for Bridge rehabilitation, including culvert and water main replacement at Grand Marais Drain until November 18th.

Hall Avenue:
Will be closed from Hanna Street East to Tecumseh Road East for water main construction and road rehabilitation until December 16th.

Hanna Street East:
Will be closed from Pierre Avenue to Moy Avenue for water main construction and road rehabilitation until December 16th.

Moy Avenue:
From Tecumseh Road East northerly to 1835 and 1832 Moy Avenue will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Stratford Court:
From Mount Carmel Drive to the dead end will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Everts Avenue:
From Norfolk Street to the dead end will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Villa Maria Boulevard:
South to Villa Maria Boulevard North through the easement crossing Churchill Drive and Eden Drive will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only, for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Churchill Drive:
From Villa Maria Boulevard North to Eden Drive will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Eden Drive:
From Villa Maria Boulevard South to Churchill Drive will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

South National Street:
From Ellrose Avenue to Norman Road will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Moy Avenue:

From Giles Boulevard East to Erie Street East will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Langlois Avenue:
From Tecumseh Road East northerly to 1691 and 1682 Langlois Avenue will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only for storm and sanitary sewer relining until December 31st.

Riverside Drive East:

From Dieppe Street to Solidarity Tower will be restricted to one lane for hydro pole relocation on the north side of Riverside Drive East. Flag people will be on site until December 20th.

Meldrum Road:

Between Tecumseh Road East and Ypres Avenue, will be closed for sewer and road reconstruction until December 9th.

Turner Road:
Will be closed from Sydney Avenue to Seymour Boulevard for water main construction and road rehabilitation until October 28th.

Woodward Boulevard:
Will be closed from Seymour Boulevard to Foster Avenue for water main construction and road rehabilitation until October 28th.

Wahketa Street:
Will be closed from Bruce Avenue to Dougall Avenue for water main construction until December 16th.

York Street:
Will be closed from Wahketa Street to CPR tracks, south of Wear Street, for water main construction until December 16th.

Church Street:

Will be closed from Wahketa Street to Tecumseh Road West for water main construction until December 16th.

Wear Street:
Will be closed from York Street to Church Street for water main construction until December 16th.

Langlois Avenue:
Will be closed from Shepherd Street East to Tecumseh Road East for water main construction until December 16th.

St. John Street:
From Clairview Street to Menard Street will experience traffic restrictions for sewer, water main and road reconstruction until October 31st.

E.C. Row Expressway:
Lane restrictions will take place in the westbound lanes between Central Avenue and Walker Road as part of the bridge repair project at the CNR and Walker Road structures until October 28th.

Marentette, Vimy and Lens Avenues:
Will have traffic restrictions in place for sewer, watermain and road rehabilitation until December 16th.
