Green Shield Canada along with Family Services Windsor Essex, are looking to the public to donate in support of local flood victims.

Green Shield will match public donations dollar for dollar, up to a total of $50,000, to support vulnerable residents living in low-income areas, whose homes have been damaged by the recent flooding.

You can donate to Family Services by visiting its website at www.fswe.ca or dropping off monetary donations at 1770 Langlois, or calling 1-888-933-1831 to donate by credit card.

“Vulnerable individuals and families may be at increased risk of health issues, or may be unable to afford to replace basic necessities required for shelter due to the flooding. We hope the community will ‘give where they live’ and support people in need,” said Steve Bradie, President and CEO of GSC.
