Flood Warning Issued

In addition to the flood watch issued for the entire by the Essex Region Conservation Authority, a flood warning is in effect for the City of Windsor, Town of Tecumseh, and Town of Lakeshore.

The Essex Region Conservation Authority advises that rainfall amounts in excess of 120 mm have been recorded in portions of the City of Windsor, Town of Tecumseh, and Town of Lakeshore. There are a significant number of roadways which are flooded and impassible. Motorists are strongly advised to select alternative traffic routes to these areas of the region. Do not drive through standing or ponded water.
